Falcon Classic Tournament
The annual Falcon Classic Tournament is held at Westosha Central High School each February. The high school is located in the
Kenosha, Wisconsin area and provides a central venue for Wisconsin and Illinois teams to compete.
The girls tournament is an official Qualifier for the Wisconsin Middle School Basketball Championship to be held in Madison on March 2025. All teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will qualify for the State Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout Wisconsin.

Boys Rules
All W.I.A.A. rules will be followed with the following modifications:
- Two 18-minute halves with running clock. Clock will stop the last 2 minutes of each half
- There will be a running clock in last two minutes of the game if a team is ahead by 20 or more points
- First overtime will be 3 minutes in duration. If the game is tied after first overtime, the second overtime is sudden death (first point wins)
- Five minute halftime
- One full and one 30 second timeout per half (one 30 second in overtime)
- Coaches, players and fans are expected to show courtesy and demonstrate good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Anyone unable to follow these guidelines will be asked to leave.
- No protests allowed, official’s decisions are final
- Press rules:
- Teams cannot press when ahead by 15 points or more
- 5th Grade – press only in last two minutes of each half and all of overtime
- 4th Grade – no press allowed
- 4th and 5th Grades – no zone defenses allowed
- Teams must furnish own balls for warm-ups
- All teams must provide a scorekeeper for each game
Girls Rules
All W.I.A.A. rules will be followed with the following modifications:

- There will be a running clock if a team is ahead by 15 or more points
- 3 minute halftime (time permitting)
- 5 minutes between games (time permitting)
- Overtime
- First overtime: 2 minutes in duration with a running clock
- Second overtime: sudden death free throw shoot out
- Time-outs
- 2 time-outs per half. 1 in overtime
- Press rules
- Teams cannot press when ahead by 15 points or more
- 3rd - 5th grades: press only in the last minute of the game and all of overtime
- 3rd - 5th grade level
- Free Throw Line: player can jump across the line
- Man-to-Man defense only; help side defense in the lane area is allowed. A defensive player should guard an offensive player and not retreat to a spot or position on the floor
- Conduct
- Technical Foul: Results in automatic 2 points and possession for the other team
- Coaches, players and fans are expected to show courtesy and demonstrate good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Anyone unable to follow these guidelines will be asked to leave
- No protests allowed; officials’ decisions are final
- Teams must furnish own balls for warm-ups
